Dogflowers 03:25
It’s been a long time since the last time I saw your face. This road keeps on winding, twining to outer space. What a changing place this world’s turning out to be. If there’s something the same: it’s me here for you, and you there for me. Just look in the mirror and see what you get to find. The world is outside, the sun has been left behind. You can find me waiting there if you stop to see. All the stars understand: I’m looking for you, while you look for me. Is there anyone left to know? Is there anywhere left to go? Nothing’s the same. Everything’s changed... Except everything. So why don’t we find a new way we can climb the sky? If no one is looking, anyone’s free to try. We could find the dogflowers there if we wanted to. You could plant one for me, oh, and I could plant one for you. Is there anyone left to know? Is there anywhere left to go? Nothing’s the same. Everything’s changed... Except everything. There’s everywhere left to go. And everyone’s left to know. Everything’s the same. Nothing has changed... Except everything.

Taffy was an old man,
 With a fine frying pan,
 Taffy came to my house,
 Hunting for a mouse.
Cut it up and fried it,
 But when Taffy tried it,
Taffy heard a clock ring,
Mouse began to sing Roll over, roll over
 Pluck an early four-leaf clover
 Roll over, roll over
Taffy roll away to Dover. Taffy started crying,
Something needed frying,
Just in time for lunchtime,
Taffy turned to crime.
 Taffy bought a penknife,
 Tried to rob a henwife,
 Taffy was a bad thief,
Taffy came to grief. Roll over, roll over
 Pluck an early four-leaf clover
 Roll over, roll over
 Taffy roll away to Dover.

There were five little monkeys jumping on the bed, One fell off and bumped his head, Mama called the doctor, and the doctor said, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!" There were four little monkeys jumping on the bed, One fell off and bumped his head, Mama called the doctor, and the doctor said, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!" There were three little monkeys jumping on the bed, One fell off and bumped his head, Mama called the doctor, and the doctor said, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!" There were two little monkeys jumping on the bed, One fell off and bumped his head, Mama called the doctor, and the doctor said, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!" (Think those monkeys learned their lesson yet? Well there was still...) One little monkey jumping on the bed, One fell off and bumped his head, Mama called the doctor, and the doctor said, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!" (Now here comes the part where we do the advanced mathematics. One monkey and one fell off, how many were left?) There were zero monkeys jumping on the bed, So nobody fell or jumped their head, Mama called the doctor, and the doctor said, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed? That's exactly what I said! Put those silly little monkeys all to bed!"

Down by the bay where the watermelons grow, Back to my home I dare not go, For if I do, my mother will say: "Did you ever see a sheep driving a jeep?" Down by the bay! Down by the bay where the watermelons grow, Back to my home I dare not go, For if I do, my mother will say: "Did you ever see a lion with a polka dot tie on?" Down by the bay! Down by the bay where the watermelons grow, Back to my home I dare not go, For if I do, my mother will say: "Did you ever see a shoe playing the kazoo?" Down by the bay! Down by the bay where the watermelons grow, Back to my home I dare not go, For if I do, my mother will say: "Did you ever see a unicorn playing on the fugelhorn?" Down by the bay! Down by the bay where the watermelons grow, Back to my home I dare not go, For if I do, my mother will say: "Did you ever see a walrus... eating an orange?" Down by the bay! ("That doesn't even rhyme!") Down by the bay!

Way down south where there's ice and snow, There lived a penguin by the name of Joe, He got so tired of black and white He wore pink slacks to the dance last night! Boom, boom, ain't it great to be crazy? Boom, boom, ain't it great to be nuts like we are? Silly and foolish the whole day through Boom, boom, ain't it great to be crazy? Well I had a dream the other night About the Land of Candy, what a sight! I dreamed I ate a giant marshmallow, When I woke up I couldn't find my pillow. Boom, boom, ain't it great to be crazy? Boom, boom, ain't it great to be nuts like we are? Silly and foolish the whole day through Boom, boom, ain't it great to be crazy? In the jungle where bananas grow An ant stepped on an elephant's toe, The elephant cried with tears in his eyes, "Why don't you pick on someone your size?" Boom, boom, ain't it great to be crazy? Boom, boom, ain't it great to be nuts like we are? Silly and foolish the whole day through Boom, boom, ain't it great to be crazy?

Mary's Lamb 03:02
Mary had a little lamb, Its fleece was white as snow, And everywhere that Mary went The lamb was sure to go; He followed her to school one day— That was against the rule, It made the children laugh and play, To see a lamb at school. And so the Teacher turned him out, But still he lingered near, And waited patiently about, Till Mary did appear; And then he ran to her, and laid His head upon her arm, As if he said—"I'm not afraid— You'll keep me from all harm." "What makes the lamb love Mary so?" The eager children cry— "O, Mary loves the lamb, you know," The Teacher did reply;— "And you each gentle animal In confidence may bind, And make them follow at your call, If you are always kind."

One little sparrow fly in the morning Whither oh where away so high One little sparrow fly in the morning Sweeping the cobwebs from the sky Fly to the east, and fly to the west And fly to the one who loves you best One little sparrow fly in the morning Sweeping the cobwebs from the sky One little sparrow fall down, fall down, Turn and turn and touch the ground One little sparrow fall down, fall down, Ashes, ashes we all fall down Fall to the east, and fall to the west And fall for the one who loves you best One little sparrow fall down, fall down, Ashes, ashes we all fall down One little sparrow rise up singing, Free little bird in the morning sky, One little sparrow rise up singing, I’ll be with you by and by. Sing to the east and sing to the west, And sing to the one who loves you best, Sing to the east and sing to the west, And sing to the one who loves you best, One little sparrow rise up singing, I’ll be with you by and by.

Dinosaur 03:25
I went to the park with a dinosaur. He was talking of what life had been. It was easier then, he said. Can we be sure that we’re all dead, he said? I talked in the park with a dinosaur. People gawking as we passed them by. People don’t even try, he said. Can we be sure that they’re not dead, he said? Chorus: Sure I’m not looking at you, Stars come shooting at you, Take your mind away, I’m sure, sure, sure. I walked through the park with a dinosaur. We were talking about what could be, a dream to be free, he said. Can we be sure dreamers are dead, he said? Eating ice cream in the park with a dinosaur. Riding bikes and laughing with a dinosaur. We’re best friends, me and the dinosaur. But can we be sure? Can we be sure? I was talking in the park with the dinosaur. We were walking With the lights in the sky, while the city asks why. He said, Can we be sure the city’s not dead, he said? (Chorus)

about

All the best songs require a big imagination. That's why children's songs are the best songs: because kids have the best imaginations. Like the kids, sometimes the songs are silly, sometimes they're serious, and sometimes they're both at once. Some of them are old and some of them are new, but they are all great to sing and dance along with someone you like.
